Waratah Lookout

Location - Hartz Mountains National Park.  Park entry fees apply.

Time - 5 minutes return.

An easy gravel track leading to a viewing platform which overlooks the Huon Valley and the forests stretching across to the Wellington Range.  From November to December the endemic Tasmanian waratah can be seen in a magnificent blaze of red colour.
